The Pure Glow Project: My Fastest (And Most Appreciated) Branding Adventure!!

Let me take you back to a time when I learned one of the most important lessons in branding: more time doesn’t always mean a better project. I learned this lesson through my first-ever branding project that received so much love: Pure Glow. A skincare brand. And let me tell you—this project was a whirlwind.

It all started when I got my hands on the Pure Glow project. The client was super clear about what they wanted, and honestly, everything just clicked right from the get-go. I didn’t agonize over every detail for months (like I usually tend to do with other projects). In fact, this project turned out to be the fastest branding job I’d ever done, and somehow, it ended up being the one that got the most appreciation from clients and peers alike. Go figure, right?

I had no idea it would turn out the way it did, but the feedback I got was overwhelming. People were raving about the clean, fresh vibe, and how it truly reflected the essence of the skincare brand. I remember thinking, "Wait, this is the one? The one I did in record time?" That’s when it hit me: sometimes, you just have to trust your gut and not overthink things. More time doesn’t always equal better results—what matters is how you approach the project, how you stay true to the brand’s soul, and how clearly you communicate that vision.

Since then, Pure Glow has become my baby. I prioritize it everywhere I go. Whether it’s in my portfolio or during client discussions, it’s the project I point to when I want to showcase my best work. Not because it took me forever to complete, but because it represents everything I’ve learned about the power of simplicity, clarity, and intuition in branding.

So, to anyone out there wondering if more time spent on a project always makes it better—take a lesson from Pure Glow. Sometimes the magic happens when you trust your instincts, focus on the heart of the brand, and go with the flow.

Cheers to the projects that surprise you, and to all the “overnight” successes that actually weren’t so overnight after all!
